Are you one of those people who eat less, go to bed earlier, or laugh more just to live a longer life? Well why not, Volunteer?
Studies from a Harvard professor George Villant has shown that caring for the well being of others enables a person a way to cope with stress in their life.
He studied 2,700 American males. One group did volunteer work while the other didn’t.
RESULTS:
As opposed to the non volunteers…
Volunteers:
-2 ½ times less likely to die from any cause
-stronger immune system
-better sleeping habits
-Priorities change with age (more generous)
