City Year is a nonprofit organization that provides full-time service to young people of all backgrounds, giving them the mindsets and tools to change the world. They act as tutors, mentors, and role models to help keep a diverse group of kids keeping them on track and to stay in school. City Year is a member of the AmeriCorps. Making TuTu's for Girls in the Children's Hospital

This mission trip was hosted by San Lucas Toliman Church in Guatemala.
My high school, De La Salle, colleagues and myself applied and were selected to journey to this 3rd world country that is in dire need of help.
There we helped the Guatemalans in which ever project they were working on. We stopped at sites such as a coffee farm, playground, a septic tank, and a small village that recently encountered a natural disaster.
